TG World Provides Update on Philippine Oil Project

CALGARY, ALBERTA – TG World Energy Corp. (TSX-V: TGE) (“TG World” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the operator of Service Contract 54A in the Philippines, Nido Petroleum Limited (“Nido”), has advised the Company that the jack-up drill rig ‘Aquamarine Driller’ has completed its stopover in Singapore and is now en route to the Tindalo oil field aboard a Heavy Lift Vessel (“HLV”). The rig has now begun its contract to the SC 54A Joint Venture participants that includes Nido, Kairiki Energy Ltd. and Trafigura Ventures III B.V.

The rig will be offloaded from the HLV in Ulugan Bay and towed to the Tindalo location by support vessels. In recent weeks key personnel and equipment have been mobilised to the Philippines and those not already onboard will join the rig at site. All other equipment is ready for service and completing its mobilisation to site on schedule.

In 2008, Nido completed a two well exploration program in Service Contract 54A that resulted in the Tindalo and Yakal oil discoveries. Both wells were suspended without testing as potential oil producers based on interpretation of well log and drilling data. The Tindalo well identified a 124 to 144+ metre oil column in water depths of approximately 100 metres. Completion operations on the Tindalo-1 discovery are scheduled to commence once the rig reaches the site and jacks down, with first oil and well testing expected shortly thereafter. Further information regarding TG World’s involvement in Service Contract 54A in the Philippines is available on our website at www.tgworldenergy.com.

In addition, TG World wishes to announce it has filed its forms under National Instrument 51-101, Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities, and its Annual information Form with applicable securities regulators in Canada. These filings can be accessed electronically under TG World’s profile on the SEDAR website at www.sedar.com.
