TG World Energy is a Calgary-based, emerging, junior international oil exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange - under the symbol "TGE"

The company's major assets are: (1) an oil exploration project in Niger, with substantial potential upside. The company holds 20% of the Ténéré Block in Niger through its wholly-owned, Bahamas registered subsidiary, TG World Petroleum Limited; (2) a Joint Venture Agreement with Alaska Venture Capital Group and subsidiary Brooks Range Petroleum Corporation to farm in, to 25-35%, on selected lands in the Alaska North Slope / Prudhoe Bay area in an area of mutual interest.

The Ténéré Block is operated by CNPC International (Ténéré) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the China National Overseas Development Corporation, in turn a subsidiary of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The Alaska lands are operated by Brooks Range Petroleum Corporation.
