Lloyd Flood
Director
Mr. Flood has over 50 years experience in the oil and gas industry, much of it in the international arena, and holds a BSc. in geological engineering. Mr. Flood has held senior positions with Bow Valley Energy Ltd. and was responsible for south-east Asian interests. He has been the President of Flood Energy Systems Inc., a private consulting corporation, since 1985.
Clifford
M. James
President
and CEO, Director
Mr. James is a geologist and business executive with over 35 years of technical and financial experience in the natural resource sector and holds a BSc. and MSc. in geology. His work has taken him throughout North America, Africa and Asia where he has held senior positions in both oil and gas and mining companies. He is the Chairman and CEO of the TVI Pacific group of companies, a successful international metal producer in the Philippines. Mr. James has been either a Director or President and founder of several energy companies including Trego Energy Inc. and Prime Energy Ltd., both of which significantly increased in value during his involvement. He was also President and founder of AGAT Consultants Ltd., now AGAT Laboratories, and the President of GeoChem Laboratories (Canada) Ltd.
James C. Smith
Director
Jim Smith is a Chartered Accountant with more than 35 years of experience in management functions, focusing on the financial and administrative areas. He has specific expertise and a background in financial analysis and reporting; financial markets; analyzing and financing corporate and property acquisitions and divestitures; selecting and developing high performance teams; and operating in a controlled cost environment. Mr. Smith has been involved in the oil and gas industry since 1983 and has served as a Vice President for such major companies as Amoco Canada, Crestar Energy and Dome Petroleum. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Crestar Energy from its formation in 1992, through its public offering in 1993, until 1998. In more recent years, Mr. Smith has acted as a CFO and/or consultant for a number of smaller oil and gas companies and has delivered professional development courses for chartered accountants. Mr. Smith currently serves as a director for Penn West Petroleum Ltd., Pure Energy Services Ltd. and Grey Wolf Exploration Inc.
Wayne
Thomson
Director Mr. Thomson is currently the President of Virgin Resources Ltd., a private international exploration and production company focused in Yemen, and a director of Encana Corporation. Mr. Thomson was President of Hadrian Energy Corp. from 1999 to 2001 and President of Gardiner Oil and Gas Limited, a public company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, in 1995 and 1996. Prior to these appointments, Mr. Thomson spent three years as a President of Petrocorp Exploration, the New Zealand oil and gas division of Fletcher Challenge, and he spent six years at the Alberta Energy Company, the last three years as Vice-President of Production. Mr. Thomson holds a BSc. in engineering.
Murray B. Todd
Director
Murray Todd’s career spans over 50 years in the oil industry and includes a wide variety of engineering, management and executive roles in Canada and the United States. Mr. Todd began his career with a large US-based multi-national, serving in Saskatchewan, California, Ohio, Texas and Alaska. He was involved in the entity’s offshore operations in the Cook Inlet and Gulf of Mexico. He later joined Dome Petroleum as President of the Canadian Maritime Drilling Company. Upon the merger of Dome and Amoco, Mr. Todd served as Senior Vice President of Production and later as President of Crestar Energy, an Amoco subsidiary. In 1995, Mr. Todd was appointed President of the Canada Hibernia Holding Corporation, a role he continues to hold today.

B. Ridsdel
Project Manager Ténéré
Mr. Ridsdel has over 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry, including eight years serving as Country Manager for Petro-Canada. While working in this capacity he was responsible for in-country exploration, development and production operations in Algeria, Pakistan and Myanmar, with an emphasis on relations / negotiations with governments and national oil companies. Previously he was Business Manager for Petro-Canada International Assistance Corporation with responsibility for technical assistance projects in Thailand, China and the Philippines. He has also acted as a consultant for international oil and gas companies exploring in North Africa, as well as for the Algerian National Oil Company, Sonatrach.
David
W. Paterson
Director of Exploration and New Ventures
Mr. Paterson is a geologist / geophysicist with 33 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He held Senior Exploration & New Business Management positions with Lasmo PLC in London, Indonesia, North Africa, Calgary and Nova Scotia. For the past 7 years he has been providing international subsurface consulting services for projects in Alaska, North Africa, Asia-Pacific, South America, the North Sea and the Caspian Sea.
George Chelico
CFO
Mr. Chelico has over 30 years of experience in finance and taxation in the oil and gas and fertilizer industries. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in accounting and business administration from Loyola University of Montreal (now Concordia). Mr. Chelico has held senior positions in the tax, accounting, internal audit and insurance fields with BP Canada (now Talisman Energy) and Agrium Inc.
